- What properties qualify?
- Commercial shells, small multifamily, mixed-use storefronts, and buildable lots in or near Pottstown. Clear title and safe site access help us move quickly. Zoning fit and basic structural soundness are evaluated case by case.
- How does a property donation work?
- 1) Intro call to align goals → 2) Site visit & feasibility → 3) Gift documentation & plan → 4) Activation: training space, on-site labs, or liquidation to fund scholarships if the property isn’t a program fit. Timelines vary by asset and due diligence.
- Is my gift tax-deductible?
- Yes. Jumpstart Pottstown is a program of Level Flat Association, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, so gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. You will receive a written acknowledgment for your records. For property gifts, talk with your tax advisor about valuation.
